Refund Policy

We want you to love what you ordered from Vera Lane. If something isn’t right, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and return shipping is free.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • In their original condition, with all original tags attached and in the original packaging
  • Free of makeup, deodorant, perfume, stains, and pet hair

We may refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Underwear, intimates, and bodysuits
  • Swimwear with the hygiene liner removed
  • Earrings and other pierced jewelry
  • Items marked “Final Sale” on the product page
  • Gift cards

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at contact@veralane.shop with your order number and the item(s) you would like to return.
  2. We will reply with return instructions and a free prepaid return shipping label.
  3. Pack the item(s) securely, attach the label, and drop off the package with the carrier.

Please do not send returns to our business address. Returns sent without first contacting us, or to an address we did not provide, cannot be processed.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Exchanges

Need a different size or color? Email us and we will help you exchange the item, subject to availability. If the size or color you want is out of stock, we will refund the original item instead. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email us as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days of delivery) with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, including any original shipping charges.

Sale Items

Items purchased at a discount can be returned under this policy unless they are marked “Final Sale.” Refunds are issued for the price you actually paid.

Customers in the United Kingdom – Your Statutory Rights

If you live in the U.K., our 30-day free returns policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights:

  • Right to cancel: under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. Just tell us by email, then return the item(s) within 14 days of telling us. This right also applies to sale and “Final Sale” items, except sealed hygiene items (such as underwear or pierced earrings) that have been unsealed after delivery.
  • Refund timing: we will refund you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the returned item(s).
  • Faulty items: if an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to reject it for a full refund within 30 days.

Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order free of charge before it ships. Contact us as soon as possible at contact@veralane.shop. Once your order has shipped, you can return it under this policy.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund was approved but hasn’t appeared after 10 business days, please check with your bank or card issuer first, as processing times vary. If you still need help, contact us and we will look into it.
